What is a concussion? A concussion is a mild traumatic brain injury (TBI) that occurs when the brain moves rapidly back and forth or is twisted inside the skull, because of a blow to the head or body. You do not have to lose consciousness or “black out” to suffer TBI. Most individuals with a TBI do not lose consciousness. Instead, they develop worsening symptoms in the days and weeks following their injury. To speed up your relief and recovery, reach out to a TBI specialist right away. Seeking timely medical help is essential to get an accurate diagnosis and prevent further damage.
What funding do you take? In Pennsylvania, Success Rehabilitation accepts funding from the Head Injury Program, CHC Wavier, Workers Comp, and Private Pay. In New Jersey, we do not offer Neurorehabilitation Outpatient.
