Get to Know Us
Concussions can have a significant impact on memory, learning, and verbal processing. To understand the effects of a concussion on brain function, it’s crucial to evaluate cognitive abilities both before and after the injury.
As part of Success Rehabilitation's comprehensive concussion services, we offer ImPACT testing—a scientifically validated tool for assessing cognitive function. This testing provides valuable data to compare your brain’s performance before and after the concussion.
Our team of brain injury specialists—including physical therapists, occupational therapists, cognitive rehabilitation therapists, and clinical psychologists—carefully analyzes the results to develop a personalized treatment plan. Our goal is to help you safely and confidently return to daily activities, work, or sports with effective, tailored support.

What is ImPACT Testing?
ImPACT (Immediate Post-Concussion Assessment and Cognitive Testing) is a widely recognized, scientifically proven computer-based tool used for concussion management. At Success Rehabilitation, we use ImPACT testing to provide both baseline and post-injury assessments for individuals of all ages. While commonly referred to as "the concussion test," it should never be used as the sole method for diagnosing a concussion.
ImPACT testing offers an objective measure of:
-
Verbal and visual learning and memory
-
Processing speed
-
Reaction time
-
Attention
The testing is conducted in two stages: baseline testing, which is done before an injury occurs, and post-injury testing to assess cognitive function after a concussion.
